Marvelous
It's quite a visually pleasing piece, with a gentle touch of outlandish humor. Swell job, good sir.

A Common Theme Amongst Fantasy Genres
...That is, the notion that, even though their technology is supposedly far behind our own, they can still accomplish much more extreme feats. Here, we see something that looks akin to a portable mall. Couldn't ask for more than that.
My props to the artist. Lovely atmosphere, silly and enjoyable concept, and delightfully fitting color schemes. Bravo.

Excellence Wrapped in a Colorful Cloth
The real reason that this is allowed on the Art Portal despite its rank as a photograph is because it took some actual effort. The reason Newgrounds disallowed most photography was because it would allow many people with no actual artistic skill to just take pictures of their dorm and/or basement and flooding the portal with an endless parade of iffy shots. This picture is not iffy in the least. It has balance, meaning, theme, and clearly took some careful preparation. Plus, it pays homage to the great and powerful Newgrounds icons.

I have a great deal of respect for art such as this. What captures my interest the most is the tones and shades of the water. It really seems to shine, and the clouds have that essential "spacious" quality to them.
However, let me tell you something I think you already know.
You would've gotten a lot more views if you used the woman in the thumbnail instead.
With all the attention I got from other pieces here that were front paged, I can do without. Besides, it leaves room for more interested folk willing to give it a chance.
