You would have to actually visit the White House to understand this, but everyone should at least be aware.
Here, in America, right next to the White House in Washington, District of Columbia (the single bastion of sincere protection the leader of the free world has), is a much larger, more impressive building.

Okay... after casting about for an easy answer, I put in 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. I was asked to send a letter there some years ago.... you either speak of the Treasury Dept. to the right or the old Executive office building, that latter of which is a bit smaller, and has no odd small building to the side (any idea what that is?)
The real money lies within the Federal Reserve building, who took over the production of our money, not the Treasury - that is the greatest tragedy to befall our nation.
